The staff helped me find something important on my first stay. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, car park, 24-hour reception, bar, restaurant, fitness center. I'm coming back for a city break. No smoking, pets, in-room AC.

I chose this hotel for attending a congregation and I was pleased with the facilities provided. The 24 hrs reception, restaurant, lobby bar, elevator, wireless Internet in public areas, business center.

The one service that I missed for my work was a dedicated work space or a business center where I could comfortably work on my laptop and hold meetings.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Great localization over a beautiful green forest. Excellent restaurant and breakfast. Very good rooms, and very comfortable.The SPA was good, and the SPA services excellent (such as massages).Penafiel is a great little Portuguese town.I will certainly return.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Penafiel that exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable. They even allowed us a late checkout and access to the pool before our late flight home, which was a great help after a night of indulgence. The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy, and the staff were always friendly. I never encountered any major issues during my stay, and the overall experience was fantastic.

The spa facilities are very good for the money. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, spacious and well-furnished breakfast buffet, convenient location near the town's main areas, enjoyable use of the gym, and friendly bartender at the bar.

There were a lot of families with kids staying at the hotel and they were pretty noisy and kept diving in the indoor swimming pool all the time, although there were many signs recommending silence.

We had a great stay. Best aspects include helpful staff, delicious breakfast with gluten-free options, clean and comfortable room, and access to a nice spa with a pool and water massage options. The hotel is walking distance from many restaurants in the town, and there is ample parking available.

This hotel was very Clean ,Had an Amazing Design and location , and had very relaxing environment, I would go again and recommend this hotel to other also.

We have appreciated very much the attention of all the staff. The hotel is new and we feel comfortable there. The rooms are nice and clean. The toilet is also modern and easy to use. The location is good. It is relatively far from the city and is quiet. However, it central to the Douro area and is a good starting point to visit it, including Amarante, Porto, the river Douro, etc. For those who travel in family, it is also important to say that there is a recreation park nearby, the "Bracalândia" park, which is a sort of little "Isla magica". Finally, there is also the pool in the hotel. But for more about the pool see below.

The spa and pool are not exactly owned by the hotel, but it seemed to me that it belongs to another owner. The staff there is not as nice as in the hotel. I think they try to keep a quiet ambience in the in the installations, and so they react a little bit negatively to the presence of kids. Actually, there is a restricted period when the kids are allowed, which is from 10h-12h and 15h-17h. We did not know about that, and had to wait to get in! Apart that, the rest was ok.

Staying at this hotel is a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, close to numerous restaurants and some nice hills. The rooms are modern, with clean bedding and comfortable mattresses. The staff is welcoming and speaks fluent English. The breakfast is delicious and varied. The Spa is big and well equipped with an indoor pool.

One minor downside is that the shower's water pressure is not the best.

A very modern hotel with very friendly & helpful staff. We particularly enjoyed the buffet supper on Sunday evening which cost only €15,. per person. The choice of dishes was amazing - and all beautifully presented and cooked to perfection.
